Best know for it's fine ski
resorts, this region also boasts Dinosaur National Monument, the Arapaho
National Recreation Area and Grand Mesa. The Colorado River meanders
through this region and it is also home to Grand Lake, the largest
natural body of water in the state. It is home to the three most
photographed mountains in Colorado, Pyramid Peak and the Maroon Bells.
