Art Center at
Fallbrook
Housed
in a former Rexall Pharmacy built in 1961, this nonprofit art exhibition
facility boasts two unique show venues -The
Janice Griffiths Gallery and The Salon Gallery. Since it’s
opening in 1996, this self-supporting division of the Fallbrook Village
Association has presented a wide variety of shows featuring works ranging
from local to internationally recognized artists that work in
sculpture, painting, printmaking, wildlife, gourd, glass, and photography
fine art. It works towards the
dual mission of providing our community and the region with a venue of
viewing the fine arts, and providing young people the arts education often
missing in the public school curriculum. The original lunch counter at
the drug store has been transformed into the Café des Artistes, a
contemporary restaurant serving fine food and drink with a Mediterranean
flair. Browsers and
collectors are welcome.
The Art Center is also home to Café des Artistes for your dining
enjoyment. For a Virtual Tour around
